Hm...

What if we could hear music, but feel it deep inside us; a tickle and a thunder moving through you like water currents in your heart. Would we ever beg for it to be turned down; ask that it not be played? Would we dance more and not care who was watching if we could feel music deep inside us?

What if the grass grew white and cold and soft in shining crystals on the ground. And the snow would rain down hot as fire; burning all the cotton wonder away. Would we lay in the grass more often and enjoy it's soft embrace? Would we wish less for the snow and enjoy what we already had if the grass grew white and cold and soft?

What if the stars only came on once a year to shine on our little planet; leaving the sky dark and barren and you with nothing to gaze into at night. Would we be more in awe when we finally got to see them again and celebrate them like a holiday? Would we look up until our necks were cramped and our eyes finally blinked, making the sky dark again, if the stars only came on once a year?

What if water had a taste?

What if the world spun the other way?

What if animals didn't mind us?

What if earthquakes put things together?

And what if we shook hands sideways?

But that would never happen... Right?
