Inside Me
Creaking in the hallway walls
Footsteps on the stair
Whispers in the darkened room
When nobody is there
Moving shadows on the wall
A tickle on my knee
Dolls that slowly turn their heads
And sounds unknown to me
Shoes that move of their own accord
Eyes in the mirror's gleam
Fingers through the closet crack
Figures standing over me
Though I clap my hands around my ears
Shut my eyes so I can't see
The darkness may be pushed away
But the Fear's inside of me...
Footsteps on the stair
Whispers in the darkened room
When nobody is there
Moving shadows on the wall
A tickle on my knee
Dolls that slowly turn their heads
And sounds unknown to me
Shoes that move of their own accord
Eyes in the mirror's gleam
Fingers through the closet crack
Figures standing over me
Though I clap my hands around my ears
Shut my eyes so I can't see
The darkness may be pushed away
But the Fear's inside of me...
