Garden Show

The morning twilight dim
Gleams onto the garden
And in it's light I see
The shadows live and breathe
A spider spins to veiw
A web where silver dew
Sparkles on the silk thread
Though he stares straight ahead
A hummingbird floats by
It's steady head held high
It's busy wings like bees
Who buzz by as they please
The roly-polies run
All glistening in the sun
And quickly run away
Where ever they might play
A frogs hops closely by
Feeling more brave than shy
While crickets end their song
For night's where they belong
As poised as any man
The dragon fly does stand
His eyes seem distant, though
He sees more than I know
The silent watchers sway
The flowers, in their way
To whisper mystery
For all who care to see
