May I please propose a rule:
Do not ask me, "So, how's school?"
Ask me what I like to do
Or why I never match my shoes
Or what I've learned from life today
Or if I've baked a cheese soufflé
Or which hero I like most
Or what I like to have with toast
Or if I like skies blue or grey
Or is my hair always that way
Or ask about my middle name
Or if I hope things stay the same
Or what's my favorite word to say
Or ask me, "Parlez vous francais?"
Or ask my nationality
Or what I wish my name could be
Or anything that interests you
These questions I have answers to
Please don't think I'm being cruel
But life is so much more than school
