The Dragon's Treasure

The Dragon doth stand
     In his mansion
The Dragon doth stand
     In his den
The Dragon doth stand
     O'er his treasure
And guards and protects
     That within

The Dragon doth sheild
     His dear treasure
The Dragon doth keep
     It from harm
The Dragon doth scorch
     Trees and flowers
To make sure his prize
     Is kept warm

The treasure doth not
     See the sunshine
The treasure doth not
     See a star
The treasure sees only
     The Dragon
And so glitters not
     In the dark.
