Fixing Faces

To fix a clock would be so grand
To take its pieces in your hand
And find what ails the tiny toy
And make it smile with porcelain joy
But when its gears are brought to bear
It's clear there's more than rust and wear
And no one tool can hope to right
The loosened springs that should be tight
I've tried to mend their faces round
But all they ever do is frown
Too great a job for any man
Best to be left in better Hands
