The NEVER's of Poetry

I've only written poems
For a short amount of time
But I've found that there are some words
That you should NEVER use to rhyme

NEVER write of zombies
Or skies of scrambled eggs
Buckets in the rain don't fit
Or people's skinny legs
NEVER describe your love life
By using the word pyre
Even if it's the only thing left
That you can rhyme with fire
Dinosaurs and aliens
Should be used sparingly
And never Ever EVER
Should you use the word geez!!!

Now, now, don't go telling me
This poem is bad or 'stinks'
'Cause I will say it's not a poem
Because this line doesn't rhyme.
