Alone

Here among the ladybugs
Where the purple flowers grow
Where worries seem to fade away
Like the melting of the snow

My head laid on the soft, green grass
I watch the birds fly by
As they swoop amongst the clouds
In the gently drifting sky

I close my eyes a little while
And hum a little tune
I enjoy the time that I'm alone
'Cause I have to come back soon

Here among the ladybugs
In the flowers will I stay
And slip away from everything
Please don't wake me with the rain
