Nothing At All
The leaves change bright and fall
As Autumn bears it's time
But only the living look long at the signs
The dead see nothing at all
The sun flies high and falls
As day progresses on
But only the living drag endless along
The dead do nothing at all
The wind pitch screams then falls
And tossed as it will
But only the living remark on the chill
The dead feel nothing at all
My heart is full and falls
With the thought we'll never meet
But only the living say things so sweet
The dead think nothing at all
