Identity

My sex has been defined
By small assumptions and mistakes
My first day deemed 'alive'
Is clearly governed by the state
I have no lights within me
To release the day I die
And who's to say that I'm more human
Than the beings past the sky
I'm the great, great, great descendant
Of those who looked nothing like me
And I control my own emotions
Like one fish controls the sea
I'm a chemical reaction
Inside a maze of joints and tubes
My mind will fall behind
The things computers learn to do
.
I'm a finite point in space
Whose existence may be erased
But my identity's in God alone
And that won't changed if I am cloned
