You are making a difference
Stow this deeply in your mind
Leave all other indications
And presumptions far behind
It might not be grand and glor'us
It might not be bad or good
But if you tried to make no impact
I don't think you ever could
If cementing what's expected
Or thrilling minds with pure surprise
Just being there, or elsewhere
There is the constant watch of eyes
Too many mothers sick with worry
Too many fathers work long days
Too many children, pets, and neighbors -
