Starlight, starbright

I pray, first star I see tonight

That The Good Lord may and The Good Lord might

Always keep you shining bright

Remind me with your twinkling eye

To praise The One who made the sky

Then shimmer back his soft reply

A stardust shower lullaby

As celestial glow engulfs the night

I may pray and pray I might

That The Good Lord keep us in his sight
