Dimming Lights
The blue lights in the feild are gone
They made them fade to black
No more use for them, you see
No reason to bring them back
The porch lights tinted gold are gone
We left them far behind
The softness of their tender touch
Only lingers in my mind
The lights behind my eyes are gone
Dimmed by ackwardness and tears
A light that's been extinguished
By the memory of three years
They made them fade to black
No more use for them, you see
No reason to bring them back
The porch lights tinted gold are gone
We left them far behind
The softness of their tender touch
Only lingers in my mind
The lights behind my eyes are gone
Dimmed by ackwardness and tears
A light that's been extinguished
By the memory of three years
