Ants

Ants must be a friendly bunch
To shake the hand of every ant
They meet as they prepare for lunch

Do they know their names by heart
And greet the Megs and Toms and Grants
Or curtly meet and then depart

Such a life must seem quite short
When each hello gives just one chance
To make a marvelous cohort
