Thoughtful Thoughts

Thoughts have substance
Thoughts have weight
But it wasn't always so
Music, writing
Reading, too
Tinted now with what I know
Once my thoughts could
Wander free
But they've grown throughout their flight
My curtains drawn
Blinds pulled back
Everything in a new light
