Seeing Things

Thought I saw you in 6th grade
But it wasn't really you
Because as soon as you were gone
The feeling was gone, too
Thought I saw my partner in crime
But it wasn't really you
There was someone else you had in mind
I just didn't quite know who
Thought I saw you at the fair
But it wasn't really you
Even though you held my hand
Some things even you can't do
Then I saw you, smiling there
On that moonlit night of blue
And now I see you everywhere
But it's never really you

  1. Believe it or not, I think I know what you're talking about.... It's a disturbing feeling, seeing a certain face floating everywhere, isn't it?

(ps, I'm glad you posted again after having paused for a couple of weeks!)

  2. It can be a rather strange feeling, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels it :)

(p.s. sorry for the break in posting, school sneaks up on you sometimes.)
